What is a (Postpartum) Doula?

A doula, also known as a postpartum doula, is an experienced and knowledgeable woman who provides support during pregnancy, childbirth and the period after delivery on a physical, emotional and mental level.

Support and guidance

As a postpartum doula, I offer practical support to ensure you feel comfortable, cared for, and supported. This includes massages, belly binding, herbal baths and steam baths, and preparing delicious, healthy, and nutritious meals. I also guide you through lotus births.

As a postpartum doula, I'm involved throughout your pregnancy, supporting you during labor and delivery, and taking care of your postpartum period completely tailored to your wishes. I also help you bond with your baby after a difficult start.

Specialization in coaching

In addition to my regular services, I also offer coaching to parents with crying or very fussy babies, as well as to mothers experiencing postpartum depression and/or a difficult start to life. My training includes sleep training and the 5S method.

Physical recovery and well-being

As a doula, I am fully committed to the physical recovery and well-being of both mother and baby. Pregnancy massages are available from 20 weeks of pregnancy, and after delivery, I offer postpartum and baby massages.
