Maternity care

Maternity care is fully covered by the basic health insurance package for up to 49 hours. The postpartum week begins on the day of birth, lasts eight days, and starts at the agreed-upon time.

Take advantage of our doula services, including massages for both parent and baby, as well as vaginal steam baths. Discover how our services can support you throughout the postpartum week.

Maternity Care Packages

For the Baby

  • Take temperature

  • Track weight

  • Clean eyes

  • Umbilical cord care

  • Change diapers

  • Bathing (from day 5)

  • Monitor skin tone and alertness

  • Monitor

For the Mother

  • Take temperature

  • Check blood pressure and pulse 

  • Assess uterine position

  • Check stitches (if applicable)

  • Inspect cesarean wound

  • Assist with showering (if needed)

  • Support with engorgemrnt breastfeeding

Included in Maternity Care

  • Dust (living room and baby's room)

  • Vacuum (living room and baby’s room)

  • Cook

  • Wash dishes and clean countertops

  • Clean toilets and sinks

  • Clean bathroom

  • Change beds (mother and baby)

  • Hang and fold baby and mother’s clothes

Not included in Maternity Care

  • Window cleaning

  • Mop floors (due to slip hazard)

  • Shower and dress other children

  • Dog walking

  • Grocery shopping (except for single parents)

  • Organize cupboards

  • Laundry

  • Ironing
